Every year since 2008 my family and I, as a Christmas tradition, watch this movie. This is a musical, about love, family, sadness, passion... it may not be the best movie ever, but it is a movie that makes your day. 

As the musical did, the aim of the movie is making a tribute to ABBA by putting all their hits together in one story, so this one does not necessarily need to be credible, you must sit and enjoy the music and the actors because Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgård are amazing but the actresses - Meryl Streep, Julie Waters and Christine Baranski - are outstanding. 

A movie, as I tried to say, to sit and enjoy one time and another, and again....

Is Joaquin Phoenix's performance of the Joker worth an Oscar nomination? Yes. Ok, but, besides that, why is everybody so hyped by this film? about time | 2013

What would you do if you had a second chance to live again the moments you've already lived? Probably the answer is that you would try and change the things you did wrong and try and do better the ones you did right.  With this movie, that apparently may seem another romantic comedy from Hollywood, Richard Curtis makes us think of  "time". The time we live and how we live it and how could a normal person use it to live.  At first, Tim, the protagonist, repeats over and over all the things he has lived to change the things he did wrong, after he does it to fall in love with a girl and also to repeat many other things that make this movie a magic movie about time and all of its connotations. The spectator just thinks of how much we need to valorate and live our life because we only have one and we cannot reherse all our steps in this life and then live it again in a perfect way...  The film has something magic, with a great story and performance...

"Julieta", by Pedro Almodóvar is a movie that I didn't plan to watch and I think that, as it has happened to me with the few last movies I've watched, it gave me a valuable lesson about life,  family, friends, in fact about us, humans.  Julieta is a humanist, she teaches ancient greek culture (literature and mythology) when, in a train,  she meets "prónos" a man named Xoan, who is a fisherman from the north of Spain that will change her hole life. They become a family when Artía, their daughter, is born and their story seems to be perfect.  Nevertheless one day, everything changes, because Julieta discovers that his husband, Xoan has been always seeing her previous wife best friend and spending some days with her when Julieta was visting her parents.
