Resultat d'imatges de modern times

I've seen parts of this movie on my history class, on tv, everywhere... and it's not a coincidence it's because Chaplin just shows to the world the reality, like Steinbeck or Fitzgerald did, but using images. The Kid was a film where Chaplin wanted to show the poberty of people on the 'roaring twenties'. It was the 'dark side' of the american dream. With Modern Times Chaplin shows us the new techniques of productivity (fordism and or taylorism) and how lots of people lost their opportunities, like Chaplin does in the movie, because they didn't have resources.

Chaplin is a genius, thats widely known and common among people. Because he knew, at the time, how did the world evolutionate. And portrayed it in a way that may seem very easy, know that we see it with prespective, but that surely was very difficult to do at the time.

Modern Times is clearly a masterpiece and with the limitations of the cinematography of the time shows the reality of the Great D epression and the extintion of dreams of millions of people that the only thing that they asked for was work, even if it made them crazy.

only god forgives | 2013

I saw this movie at the Sitges Film Festival. When the movie started you could feel Gosling's presence in the film as you do all the time that the movie lasts... but nothing more. Ryan Gosling's carachter 'Julian' seems like a ghost that sometimes can be violent and other times he stands up with everything, that her mother says. The movie stands between the violence and the colors, the feelings that the scenes produce on you. I think that the film is a metaphor of the things that happen in a kind of world that exists and where the only way of surviving is violence, but also your way of dying. Right know I can tell I made a good choice, 'cause this movie is different, it has something special Thanks to the Sitges Festival Organization for bringing this movie to Sitges!

guardians of the galaxy | 2014

The James Gunn film is set in a galaxy where the heroes haven't got the superhero profile. Peter Quill is a bounty hunt er that was taken away from his planet, the Earth, when he was just a boy. From his planet he only has a walkman with a cassette that has multiple songs.  It is noteworthy to say that the nostalgic songs and the reference to the movie Footloose (1984) where Kevin Bacon becomes a hero changing a situation by dancing makes this film different.  As said at the beginning, the characters have all a different profile that you wouldn't identify with a hero. They are selfish, they only look for themselves... When Peter steals something capable of destroying the galaxy from Ronan - the tyrant of the film  - Gamora (Zoe Saldana) has the duty to bring it back to Ronan, but she's planning her betrayal. Besides that, the Groot and Rocket want to capture Peter to earn money. This persecution finishes when they all go to jail and have to ally in order to get ...
